Sebagai bagian dari Program Penanaman Kembali Pohon Kirai pada Bantaran Sungai Cisadane, maka Universitas Bina Nusantara telah melakukan penanaman 50 pohon Kirai pada tanggal 28 dan 30 Mei 2024 bersama dengan para mahasiswa dari 5 kampus Binus di area Jabodetabek. Sebagai bagian dari program tersebut, mahasiswa dari BINUS ASO School of Engineering, Universitas Bina Nusantara, dibimbing oleh dosen, telah membangun aplikasi seluler (mobile application) yang dapat digunakan pada telepon genggam cerdas Android, untuk melakukan pendataan dan pemantauan pohon hasil donasi yang ditanam di area pinggiran sungai Cisadane. Aplikasi seluler tersebut memiliki fungsi untuk mendatakan pohon-pohon yang telah ditanam dengan memberikan label kode QR unik untuk masing-masing pohon. Aplikasi tersebut juga dapat digunakan untuk mencatatkan kondisi pohon saat melakukan monitoring, termasuk informasi lokasi, ketinggian, dan foto masing-masing pohon. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang dipasang di telepon genggam cerdas, maka ada banyak orang yang dapat membantu melakukan pemantauan dan pencatatan kondisi pohon. Data seluruh pohon yang terpantau dikumpulkan di satu basis data terpusat sehingga dapat memberikan informasi mengenai tingkat keberhasilan penanaman pohon kepada para pendonor, dan juga dapat digunakan untuk mencari metode penanaman yang lebih baik.

The project produces model focusing on optimizing the placement of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations using the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) to address the growing demand for EV infrastructure. The current model is an enhancement of last year model aiming to simultaneously minimize total costs (including development, installation, operational, queuing, grid power loss, and travel costs) and maximize the popularity index of selected charging sites, representing user preferences. The model&nbsp;incorporates multiple constraints, such as site capacity, demand satisfaction, and maximum allowable distance between demand points and charging stations, to ensure feasible and efficient solutions.The optimization process involves the creation of a multi-objective model that generates a diverse Pareto front of solutions, allowing decision-makers to evaluate trade-offs between cost-effectiveness and user accessibility. The model provide practical insights into strategic planning for EV charging infrastructure, balancing user needs, budgetary limitations, and policy requirements. This approach demonstrates the potential for improving EV adoption rates by developing a well-distributed, user-centric charging network that enhances accessibility and reduces range anxiety.

The APA application is an Android-based app designed to evaluate the environmental safety level of pesticides. This application was developed in response to growing concerns over pesticide use in Indonesia, which poses a threat to environmental sustainability and resilience. Pesticides are toxic compounds that, when used irresponsibly, can harm numerous aspects, from human health to the environment itself. In Indonesian agriculture, pesticides are commonly used on agricultural land as a solution to repel and eliminate pests that threaten crop production. The APA application assesses the safety level of a pesticide by evaluating the data associated with the pesticide in question. The application receives five main data points: the pesticide’s persistence, the AEQ index, the median lethal dose (LD50) for bees, the likelihood index of exposure to bees in nearby farming areas, and the maximum residue limit of the pesticide on crops. The evaluation results provided by the APA application are presented on a numeric scale from 0 to 10. If the pesticide evaluation score is closer to 0, this indicates that the pesticide or its dosage is unsafe for agricultural land. Conversely, if the score is closer to 10, the pesticide or its dosage is relatively safer and poses minimal environmental contamination risk when applied to agricultural areas.

It also allows HRD to oversee employee/doctor performance and generate recapitulation reports for evaluation purposes.One of this product's advantages was improved HR activities, including monitoring employee absence data in real-time and improving employee performance, work ethic, and work discipline. On the other hand, using the mobile application, employees can input attendance, submit absence requests, and input self-development activities.&nbsp;&nbsp;Research background&nbsp;Digital transformation in healthcare is crucial for industry advancement. It involves changes in health systems driven by digital technologies, such as telemedicine and electronic medical records (Ministry of Health, 2023). This transformation not only improves patient access to health services but also strengthens the development of human resources (HR). In Indonesia, the aim is to equip HR professionals with the skills to analyze health data, enabling agencies to create informed, data-driven policies for better health outcomes (Ministry of Health, 2024).&nbsp;&nbsp;Research history&nbsp;This research was in collaboration with the Sawah Besar District Health Center. Human Resources (HR) are essential for achieving organizational goals. Utilizing technology to manage human resources can boost employee performance and productivity. One effective method is to document all employee activities. During FGD, discussions with Sawah Besar Health Center revealed the need for a tool for Human resource management. On March 31, 2023, the first FGD (Focused Group Discussion) took place as an online meeting. The Sawah Besar Community Health Center explained its approach to Human Resource management. After several FGDs, the final application was completed on January 31, 2024, and successfully launched on September 20, 2024, for internal use.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The concept of this furniture is taken from the analogy of Bohemian society which has characteristics that often move or are commonly called nomadic and close to nature. The analogy taken is from the butterfly fauna, which has the same characteristics as Bohemian society, which often moves.This analogy takes inspiration from the color and shape of the butterfly's wings that flap wide when it flies from place to place. The design form that is designed uses the shape of a butterfly's wings when flying from a side view and there are elements of lines in the middle area of ??the backrest as a symbol of the butterfly's body. Meanwhile, the colors taken from this analogy are natural colors, namely green, brown and other natural colors. In terms of strength, the main material used is rattan which is a natural and local material that is elastic and easy to shape. Rattan stems are formed by responding to the main character of rattan, which is flexible. There is also a repetition of stacking until finally it becomes a solid mass and can support the load. Finally, the rattan is given a twist and weave so that the appearance of the furniture and accessories remains aesthetic. This furniture and accessories are designed to support user activities in the hotel room area, where the furniture designed is a means of sitting to support activities for resting, writing, dressing up, reading, and other activities.

Motyl Chair is a hotel room chair that takes inspiration from nature and butterfly as its main shape and color concept with the selection of rattan material as its attraction.

GoodNEST chair tells about life related to nature with inspiration from the philosophy of the weaver bird, which is considered a unique nest-making bird.The shape of the furniture and accessories is inspired by the organic shape of the weaver bird's nest where in its shape there are many curves and dense weaves. The color concept of the furniture and accessories uses colors such as brown cream which is the original color of rattan material with a combination of gray from the color of the weaver bird. With consideration of strength, the material chosen for the construction of the chair frame is aluminum which looks sturdy and makes the appearance of the rattan weave more modern. Rattan weave is used as the main material for the backrest and seat cover to soften the modern look of the aluminum frame, in addition to the ergonomics that are in accordance with its designation as a dining chair in the dining area of ??a hotel restaurant. Combined with interior accessories that are made in harmony with the concept of this chair, this product becomes a complete package that meets the needs of its users.

Title: Implementation of SUS Material for Grinding Machine in SME Tofu ProductionLocation: “Omah Tahu Sehat Asri Serasi” (Dusun Karanglo Rt 05, Rw 01, Desa Kenteng, Kecamatan Bandungan, Semarang, Jawa Tengah, 50614).Activities Description:The current situation at the SME Omah Tahu Asri Serasi involves the use of an iron-based grinding machine for tofu production. This equipment poses hygiene concerns, as the grinding process may introduce iron rust into the soybean mixture. The presence of rust not only compromises the cleanliness of the process but also prevents the SME from hosting direct visits from buyers or customers due to the substandard production environment. Additionally, the machine is powered by a diesel engine, which emits pollutants that contaminate the tofu production area.To address these issues, a new soybean grinding machine is being designed with a focus on improving hygiene, as tofu is a product that is directly consumed by people. The design will incorporate full stainless steel construction, using SUS 304 Food Grade for components and SUS 201 for the machine legs, ensuring a rust-free and hygienic grinding process. Furthermore, the existing diesel engine will be replaced with an electric dynamo to eliminate emissions and keep the production area free from diesel pollution. Implementation: - SUS 201 stainless steel for the machine legs and SUS 304 Food Grade for other components.- Design of an electric dynamo system to replace the diesel engine.- Use of a 10-inch grinding disc, replacing the current 8-inch disc, to increase production capacity from 30 kg/hour to 40 kg/hour.

It is designed a soybean grinding machine by paying attention to the hygiene of the tofu process by using SUS materials and electric dynamo.
