The interactive Room for special needs children (Down Syndromes) was designed to provide an educative as well as fun environment to play and&nbsp;to improve his/her sensory ability. The room has many buttons that will give different reactions to stimulate the senses including their motor, auditory, visual, and speech ability.

Living healthy is a current lifestyle especially in big cities. People are concerned about the number of calories they consume per day, and they even hire nutritionists and personal trainers to help them in monitoring their healthy life. In this research, the researcher is using a calorie monitoring dining table with a revolving stand or tray on a table to hold condiments. This device, which is commonly called as Lazy Susan, is modified by adding Raspberry Pi and load cell sensor to calculate the number of calories transferred from serving plate to user’s plate. Users can select the menu and the Lazy Susan will rotate to serve the desired menu while also calculating the calories consumed by the user. The information will be transferred to the user’s Android smartphone and will be adjusted according to the user’s activity. The error reading rate of the system is 6% to 7% and the total price of the product is $1,308, which is cheaper than the “made to measureautomated Lazy Susan dining table” available in the market. As one of the world's largest archipelago countries, Indonesia faces significant challenges in distributing wealth including basic infrastructures such as electricity and internet to some of its most remote islands. Due to its remoteness, people in this remote area mostly lived in poverty, which also lead to poor education quality. The digital library based on the Raspberry Pi "minicomputer" was created to address this issue. This device can store more than 2500 educational movies and e-books that can be viewed offline and has been demonstrated to be reliable even in areas with unpredictable electricity. Offline Digital Library for Remote Areas that has no Internet Access and Unstable Electricity Power

It is  a digital library that can be equally functional in remote areas with no internet connection and has limited or unstable electric power. 

Amusement parks have been growing rapidly in Indonesia in the past five years but they seem affordableonly for the middle and higher classes of society. Surabaya in East Java has several amusement parksthat cater for low budgets and they have good-quality equipment and are safe to use. The purpose of thisresearch is to show the results of building a low-cost amusement park. The amusement park was builtby a player in the amusement park industry in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Departmentof Bina Nusantara University. An infinity mirror room (IMR) was built in one of the new amusementparks in Surabaya called Suroboyo Night Carnival. The full design of the IMR is discussed in this paperincluding the equipment used in the design. The IMR mainly uses fibre optics, LED and a mirror. Theamusement park began operation on July 28, 2013, and the amount spent on one room was aroundUS$8,500. No safety breaches have been reported. The facility has been able to attract 500 visitors onaverage from 2013 to 2016. The breakeven point of this facility was achieved in the first year of operation. Some achievements:<ul><li>2013 a building Rumah Kinclong as one of the facility in Suroboyo Night Carnival Amusement Park. </li><li>2018 a published in Pertanika Journal of Science &amp; Technology, 26(1), pp. 215-224.</li><li>2016 a the facility was closed and renovated into new amusement center.</li></ul>

Low Budget Amusement Park based on Infinity Mirror Room Concept (Rumah Kinclong)

A low-cost amusement park is built in Surabaya with its one of the facilities based on infinity mirror room (IMR) concept.

I hold a degree from TU Delft University, Netherlands, where I specialized in Microelectronic Engineering. Since 1999, I have been a lecturer at Bina Nusantara University (BINUS), teaching courses in electronics, computer programming, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. In recent years, my research has focused on solar energy as part of the global push for Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy). This interest has extended into community development initiatives, where I introduce schools and local communities to the practical applications of solar energy technologies.Currently, my research is centered on battery systems—critical components in renewable energy infrastructure—as well as AI technologies in face recognition. I am also exploring power electronics, particularly DC-DC converter and DC-AC inverter topologies, which are essential for efficient energy transformation and integration into daily life.
