The knowledge portal is a web page that contains information sources, resources, and references that can be used by Binusian. The information provided on the portal not only limited to support teaching-learning process, but also support the day to day operations that running in Binus.&nbsp;Knowledge portal not only act as a "storage tools" to discover information, but also a sharing tools where the user can manage, share, and exchange any recent or important information &amp; knowledge to other collegues. Knowledge portal is capable of storing information (cloud-based service) such as videos, pictures, presentations files, documents, etc. Knowledge portal also has links to other Binus applications and websites such as Binusmaya or any other departement's website, make it simpler and easier for portal user. Knowledge portal basicly used as a tool for supporting and stimulating knowledge transfer, storage, creation, retrieval, integration, and application. Knowledge portal providing relevant knowledge artifacts to explore. Knowledge Portal not only provides general knowledge, but also knowledge that is specific to the expertise of its users and even not only limited to providing such knowledge, Knowledge Portal can facilitate users with the same expertise to exchange knowledge with each other. One of the functions of Knowledge Portal in knowledge integration can also play an important role for companies/organizations to channel institutional capabilities derived from institutional learning.

Karto Iskandar is Bina Nusantara University’s Faculty Member at School of Computer Science. With more than 20 publications in reputable journals with h-index of 2 (<a href="https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=56180497500" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=56180497500</a>), he has been recognized by his colleagues as a researcher who is widely involved in various disciplines sciences such as knowledge management, software development, and other fields of computer science. Experience working at Binus University for 25 years has brought him to understand the ins and outs of the world of education in Indonesia. Experience teaching and guiding student thesis also requires sharp in seeing solutions to existing problems. Hundreds of undergraduate graduates have been produced so that their ability in the IT world is no longer in doubt. In summary, he is one of the best computer science researchers at Bina Nusantara University with high-impact research that can be applied in the real world and provides innovative solutions with in modern IT approach.
