Summary
Dr. Ir. Haryono Soeparno, M.Sc. is an Associate Professor at BINUS University whose interdisciplinary expertise spans data science, artificial intelligence and sustainable agriculture. He has engaged in projects that support modern agro-industry practices in Indonesia, including the launch of the “Artificial Intelligence Research and Innovation Center for Agroindustry (AIRICA)” which he helped kick-off. He has also authored works on agricultural innovation systems and sustainable resource management in agriculture, such as contributions to “Sinergi Sistem Penelitian dan Inovasi Pertanian Berkelanjutan”. Through his research and community service he works to bridge advanced computing (machine learning, deep learning) with agricultural challenges — for example, supporting digital transformation and bio-industry development in plantation and small-holder sectors.
