He holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Yokohama National University and a Master’s degree in Highway Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology. His research interests include bridge testing, monitoring, maintenance, and advancements in aerodynamic design.Recognized for his specialization in bridge design and maintenance, with significant contributions to developing standards and codes for long-span bridges in Indonesia. The role extends to quality supervision of major toll road construction projects across Indonesia, bringing rigorous engineering standards to the nation’s infrastructure. Provides technical expertise in bridge aerodynamics and structural health monitoring systems, playing a critical role in Indonesia’s bridge safety and performance standards.Has a keen interest in digital twins for bridge monitoring, sustainable construction practices, and green infrastructure. His work reflects a commitment to integrating innovative technology with practical engineering solutions to address complex civil infrastructure challenges.Has been instrumental in several high-profile projects, including the Suramadu Bridge, Indonesia's longest cable-stayed bridge. His leadership in developing Indonesia’s bridge maintenance manuals and guidance for wind tunnel testing of long-span bridges has shaped national infrastructure policies. Additionally, as a visiting specialist and professional engineer, he has overseen quality assurance for major toll road projects and provided expert consultation on the Sunda Strait Bridge Project.
