Dr. Dwiyantari Widyaningrum is a lecturer in the Biotechnology Department at BINUS University, Indonesia. She graduated with a Doctor of Engineering degree from Kochi University of Technology, Japan, with a dissertation on the toxicity evaluation of polymer nanoparticles in aquatic microalgae.
Currently, she works in microalgae biotechnology, with specific expertise in exploring bioactive compounds from microalgae. Her latest publication focuses on the encapsulation of microalgae pigment to improve pigment quality. Additionally, Dr. Widyaningrum is involved in research on developing products from waste, such as eco-enzyme derivative products. Her research interests are diverse, encompassing the exploration and downstream processing of bioactive compounds from microalgae and the development of sustainable products from organic waste.
