Summary

Semi is a distinguished cybersecurity expert and IT professional with over two decades of experience spanning vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, ethical hacking, threat intelligence, malware analysis, and cloud security. As a consultant, researcher, and educator, he has delivered training and advisory services across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, enabling organizations to strengthen their defenses against complex and evolving threats. He holds more than 80 industry certifications, including CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, CISA, and CASP+/SecurityX. He has made significant contributions to the field through his published research on cyber resilience, red teaming, security metrics, and automated threat hunting.

In addition to his consultancy work, Semi lectures part-time at several universities, teaching subjects such as Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Network Security, and Secure Development Lifecycle. He has spearheaded cybersecurity initiatives for financial institutions, government agencies, and cryptocurrency platforms, offering expertise in SOC operations, secure software development, and regulatory compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. Semi holds a Doctor in Information Technology (DIT) from AMA University, Philippines, and a Doctor of Computer Science (DCS) from Bina Nusantara (BINUS) University, Indonesia. By combining technical expertise, academic research, and strategic leadership, he has established himself as a respected thought leader who continues to shape resilient cybersecurity models, drive the adoption of best practices, and mentor the next generation of professionals.
