One of the obstacles to documenting daily necessities is that the majority of individuals continue to utilize paper as a documentation medium for their personal needs. Manual recording is generally regarded as challenging since it causes recording papers to be lost or forgotten (Rosidi & Afriyudi, 2023). The original survey findings revealed that 66.7% of 50 respondents still recorded personal needs on paper. 47.6% of respondents continued to fail to document personal needs due to a lack of time. As a result, the goal of this research is to create an application named Expensa for recording shopping expenses. In addition to recording, the Expensa Application can provide a monthly analysis of the user's financial costs and allow the user to set a customized monthly budget restriction.

The objective of this research is to develop a personal purchasing recording application that enables the user to manage their finances in a detailed and concise way. This application is developed on the Flutter framework, with its database implemented using SQLite. This application is compatible with Android-based handsets. The developed application has a primary functionality of presenting detailed analytical data on user spending each month. It is capable of running offline, allowing access at any time and location solely through a smartphone.
