Summary

LIBS method is not commonly used in Indonesia for elemental analysis compared to any other technique. Its advantages include rapid analysis, non-destructive, and in situ. The research is conducted at laser laboratory of Maju Makmur Mandiri Research Center (http://mmmrc.org) since 2003 as part of collaboration research activity. Researchers from UNSYIAH, UDAYANA, UPH, UKRIDA, UNDIP, LIPI, BINUS, Japan, and Pakistan were having annual research collaboration with MMRC in LIBS field which its results will be published at reputable International Journal.

Product Impact

The method is used for qualitative and quantitative analysis for any elemental analysis and for studying plasma phenomenon in Physics.

Product Uniqueness

This method is one of the unique technique with its rapid analysis, in situ analysis, and without sample pre-treatment process
